A look inside our partnership with this non-profit made up of non-profits
In June, Scurry Street spent an incredible four days with AFP Florida Caucus at their annual Planet Philanthropy conference at the Rosen Centre Hotel in Orlando, FL. This was our third year partnering with AFP Florida, and it is always humbling to work with their all-volunteer board of directors and planning committee. The work they do is incredibly inspiring and they represent the best of the best in Florida’s non-profit fundraising community.
This event was a little different than others because Scurry Street was also a sponsor! We developed and managed all of the conference’s surveys for the educational sessions, speakers, exhibitors, and overall feedback. By “repurposing” the Swoogo event management platform, we were able to gather feedback from stakeholders which will be invaluable as we look to the future of Planet Philanthropy.
Super big shoutout to Travis Hull and his 📸crew at Spoken Motion Studio for capturing the conference’s visual story. Learn more about Travis and his team in this featured story. [How to Create a Shot List]

Harris Rosen of Rosen Hotels & Resorts was our “Fireside Chat” keynote guest. What an incredible story he has to tell!
In an effort to be more sustainable, we tested a “holderless” badge and placed tickets and other small items in personalized envelopes made of 100% recyclable materials. #ConsciousConferencing
